The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 delivers instant plumping hydration to give you soft, smooth, healthy-looking skin. The lightweight formula boosts skin’s hydration levels with all-day nourishment and helps lock in moisture to visibly smooth dry skin. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 also promotes a sense of elasticity and suppleness, while reducing the appearance of fine, dry lines.

This formulation contains 5 forms of hyaluronic acid, which help deliver intense hydration. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that is naturally found in the skin where it binds to water. The forms included are low, medium, and high molecular weight molecules, an HA crosspolymer, and hydrolyzed HA.

This formulation also contains ceramides to help lock in moisture. Ceramides are lipids (fat molecules) naturally found in the skin that nourish the skin barrier to keep the skin protected and hydrated. The ceramides used in this formula are known as sphingolipids.

Pro-vitamin B5 helps to form important skin barriers such as ceramides and fatty acids, which help to keep the skin moisturized for longer.
